Each of the 5 P2 groups were given a long cardboard tube, which immediately was christened “the telescope”. Each group was assigned to finding the best place to insert the “telescope” into the hedge in order to see through it and out the other side.

I just love these photographs. It makes me want to get the telescope and look inside the hedge too.
P2’s, your memory drawings from inside the hedge are lovely too.
It’s a different world inside the hedge. Parts are going every direction and it’s spiky. It’s hard to move about in the hedge.
This is my favourite day, looking through the telescope. We saw the leaves which were far away. I held the telescope all by myself.
Robert said he seen different sizes and colours of leaves.
Aaron loved looking through the telescope especially when he seen a ladybird. He also enjoyed drawing the leaf that he had found.
