The group explored a range of materials and selected interesting samples that could be layered, folded or crumpled in order to allow less light through. The challenge was to create some contrast and diffuse or filter the light down but still allow a torch to shine through. The samples were adjusted, cut and pasted as collages. Once they are finished they will hang at the window where the light can be seen shining through.
