Feedback and tasks

Based on the previous work at home, I wrote a message to each person, encouraging them to repeat some of the photo experiments they had tried at home. Each message was tailored to the person’s own images, suggesting alternatives, small adjustments to see what would happen. Some of the images, as I pointed out to the children, were already great and didn’t need any work. It was important to me that they were willing to try things more than once. Photography can be about a snapshot or a spontaneous response. it can also be thoughtful and meditative. I wanted them to experience that side of the work. I couldn’t wait to see what would come back from this set of images.
