Today was a chance to look at the work that we have made and decide if we had left out any interesting subject matter. I wanted to make sure that everyone had time to create a piece of work that meant something to them -something that they had found really interesting from their research. Some people chose to have a second go at a subject but using a different medium -others seized the chance to work on a previously unexplored portion of their research. Given the choice after their work with different media the previous week, everyone wanted to have another go with pen and wash. I think it’s true to say that they fell in love with the technique. There was a flurry of activity and the day flew by very quickly. We didn’t want to risk the images by carrying them around when they were wet so the agreement was that they would scan everything and send it through to me. There were images of houses, people, landscapes and signposts. It’s hard to wait for the post.
