We loved week 2, when all the parents came in. We were able to ask the parents for information on our areas – we recorded our thoughts in our journals.  Mostly we liked the painting, maps and mixing colours with only green, black and white. It was really fun and exciting.

We had lots of fun on week 2 with the map.   We wish we could put more detail in it – We think Ann will let us add more to our maps over the next few weeks.

This week we drew maps of our route to school.  This is my first year of the project and so far I think it is fun and I am enjoying it.

I liked drawing the maps today and I enjoyed talking to the parents about the history of our area.  They helped us to learn more about our locality and gave us ideas for research.
