We walked around our school to have a close look at all the different things around our buildings, this helped us make decisions as to what we were going to photograph. We decided to make a list of different things we could photograph around our school.
Ann came to vist today. She helped us to do sound recordings. Elena
On week 4 we drew a map of where we wanted to record. Ann came with her cool gadgets to record and my favourite was the dead cat! It is a mic with a fluffy thing on the end of the mic. So sort of like a fluffy shield! Harry I

Today we started our new art project with Ann. For some of our group it was our second year with Ann but for Harry and Ellen S it was totally new.
First thing this morning we chatted with Ann and we learned how to use the whiteboard and cameras. We took photos with the web cam and it was really good fun.
After break we had time to experiment with the camera and this is our favourite snapshot taken by Lydia. We tried to include the computer in the background and we all wanted to look relaxed. We think we look relaxed but next time we might think more about the light and the background – Jodie, Lydia, Harry and Ellen.
Today we learned how to use a camera and we experimented with light by turning on and off the flash. We also learned how to take photos in landscape and portrait with a camera. We had great fun chatting with Ann and getting our pictures taken by using the whiteboard.
We think this picture is very good because it is not too dark or too light and the background of George’s Marvellous Medicine is our favourite wall in our classroom at the minute – Jessica, Morgane, Lauren and Aimee.
We started our art project today. Our group had worked with Ann last year, except James. First we took photos, then we wrote our names on them and after break we took pictures using the cameras. We thought our photo was good but next time we could work on our background – Katie, Kate, James and Carys.
We had our first session with Ann today. We learned how to use the whiteboard and the cameras. After break we took photos using the cameras and we think our photo is really good but we need to think more about our background. We also think that it looks good because of the position of the people in our group. We took our photos near the windows so we could have plenty of light – Louise, Isaac, Harry and Adam.
Today we talked to Ann using the whiteboard, it was Jasmine’s second year to work with Ann but for the rest of our group it is our first time and we were all really excited to be doing something like this. In the morning we learned how to take a picture using the whiteboard it was really good fun. Our photograph is one where we are pretending it is a hot day, and we are looking forward to learning how to take really good photographs – Taylor, Rhys, Jasmine and Ellen B.
Today we looked at all the different types of paper, which Ann brought us and we drew pictures. Also Ann came into our classroom for a real visit in previous weeks we were just doing video chat. Jodie p4

Today it was the best week ever. Ann visited us and gave us material and we experimented with paints and chalk.
I like week 6 because we got to use paint, and painting is fun!!! Caleb p5.
This week Ann came in and brought lots of materials. (Yippee) We did some experimenting on cloth, with different writing things. We also painted some pictures and that was really fun. It was fun when Ann came.
