After last weeks storm in the studio/classroom, this week was far more serene. This is the last week examining storms and natural disasters and the focus was on flooding. Myself and the children created mini landscapes using clay in transparent containers. At the end of the session the works were flooded with water and the destruction will be recorded over the next six weeks. When filling the containers, some of the pupils were concerned that the water would spoil all their hard work, the teacher asked how they would feel if it was their actual home that was flooded?
