This week we all made clay portraits which will be used to link to the theme of ‘change and duration’. My portrait has been placed outside and will be recorded over the duration of the project. Similarly, the childrens’ portraits have been placed in the courtyard and these will be documented week to week. Humans age and change overtime – this notion will be captured by the unfired clay which will change and be eroded by the weather.
